VAT and customs duty
All customers must be aware that VAT and customs duty may be charged on shipments to Denmark. VAT is 25 % and customs clearance costs DKK 300.

However, there are customs duty exceptions. If the goods weigh less than 50 kilos and the value does not exceed DKK 3000 you may avoid paying import duty to Denmark.

When you submit goods for shipment to Denmark it is therefore important that you fill out and bring the various forms that were sent to you when you booked your goods.
